Hello, we’re Olly & Carrie and we’re the people that are Mackie Wood Co. We design, create and make high quality bespoke ocean wave art and furniture in our rural workshop and studio in North Devon.

Olly is the wood guy and furniture maker and Carrie is a resin artist.

Olly re trained as a furniture maker in 2008 after discovering a passion for woodworking. Since then he has been making for private clients, interior designers and galleries.

Carrie is a self taught artist and has worked in various mediums over the years, with her work travelling across the world. Her deep love of the ocean and the North Devon and Cornish coastlines has led her to the resin wave art that you see today.

Olly & Carrie have worked together since meeting in 2010. The wave art amalgemates their passions, Olly’s for handcrafted local timber and Carrie’s for the love of the sea and nature.

Our product range is extensive, although you won’t find it all on here! We also undertake commission work, so if there’s anything that you are looking for, please feel free to contact us.
